Composer

Nick has been composing since the age of 13, and has written an expanding collection of sacred and secular works for choirs. Nick's music focuses particularly on text, and on shaping the music to express the meaning of the work in a dramatic and storytelling fashion. 

 

Nick's most successful work so far is a set of Three Folksongs, originally completed for the award winning sextet Amici, and arranged for mixed choir as part of the 2017 Sing for Pleasure summer school. In addition, he has recently completed a Christmas Cantata, 'Until the Son of God Appear', and a jazz setting of O Salutaris Hostia, published by Sing for Pleasure.
